1. Who we are and who these terms are for

Gramora is operated by GRAMORA11PLUS LEARNING LTD (“we”, “us”). These terms apply when you use gramora11plus.co.uk or subscribe to Gramora.

Accounts are for adults. You must be 18 or over and the parent or guardian of the child using the programme. The account is yours, not your child’s — you hold the login, you receive our emails, and you are responsible for what happens on the account. Children do not create accounts and are not asked to give us information directly.

2. What Gramora is

A 52-week preparation programme for the Kent Test, delivered online: one mission a week, plus printable papers, practice questions, games and mock papers.

Gramora is a study programme, not a guarantee. We do not promise any exam result, score or grammar-school place, and nothing on our site should be read as promising one. Where we show a standardised-score estimate, it is an estimate produced by our own practice materials — it is not an official score, is not produced or endorsed by any exam board or local authority, and will not match your child’s actual Kent Test result.

We are not affiliated with Kent County Council, GL Assessment, or any school or exam board.

3. Your subscription

Price: £30 per month, including VAT where applicable. It renews monthly until you cancel.

Free trial: 14 days. A payment card is required to start it. We take nothing during the trial. At the end of the trial your first payment is taken automatically and your subscription continues month to month. If no valid payment method is on file when the trial ends, the subscription is cancelled rather than charged.

An unused trial is never charged. If no learning has been done during the trial — no diagnostic, mission, game, tutor question or mock paper — the subscription ends with the trial and nothing is taken.

When the trial starts we email you a confirmation with the date it ends, and our payment provider emails a reminder before it ends.

Week 1 is free to everyone, with no card and no trial — you can try it before deciding.

A trial gives the same access as a paid subscription.

4. Discounts

We sometimes offer discount codes, including through tutors who partner with us. A discount applies only while the subscription it was used on continues, and only one code can be used per subscription.

Where a tutor gives you a code, that tutor earns a commission from us if you subscribe. It costs you nothing — the code reduces your price — but you should know the relationship exists.

We may withdraw or change a discount programme for new subscriptions at any time. Doing so does not affect a discount already applied to your subscription.

5. Cancelling, and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your account settings, which opens our payment provider’s billing portal. Cancelling stops the next payment. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Your legal right to cancel. You can cancel within 14 days of starting your subscription without giving a reason. Those 14 days are the free trial, so cancelling within them costs nothing.

Charged by mistake? Email hello@gramora11plus.co.uk within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it in full.

Beyond that, because Gramora is digital content available immediately, we do not generally give refunds for a period already started. This does not affect your legal rights where content is faulty or not as described. If something has gone wrong, email us — we would rather sort it out than stand on a clause.

6. Your account

Keep your login details to yourself. One subscription covers one child. If you have more than one child preparing, each needs their own account, so that progress, results and materials stay separate.

Please do not share, copy, resell or publish our materials, or use the service to build a competing product. Our content and the Gramora name belong to us; your subscription is a personal licence to use them, not a transfer of ownership.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Gramora available but cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may update, change or withdraw features, and we may take the service down for maintenance. If we discontinue the service entirely while you are subscribed, we will tell you and stop charging you.

8. Your child’s data

Set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: we deliberately collect the minimum needed to run the programme, we never use a child’s data for advertising, and tutors who refer you get no access to your child’s data.

9. Ending your access

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, shares materials, or is used fraudulently. If we do, we will refund any period you have paid for and not received, unless the breach was deliberate.

10. Our responsibility to you

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for exam outcomes, school admission decisions, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand, and you can cancel before it takes effect if you do not accept it.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
